And the winner is.....

Going to be revealed tonight! The 2010 Elle New Talent Competition, in partnership with Mr Price is once again underway, and judging by the response of the guests at Last night's Cocktail Party hosted by the magazine - there are definitely some front runners.

As well as the actual Elle New Talent fashion show being tonight at 18.00 - SA Fashion Week officially kicks off tonight! At 19.00 tonight is a very special performance and a kind of courting (fashion and art) where Lisa Jaffe of Guillotine is collaborating with David Krut Projects and doing a performance instillation with Joao Orecchia, Eduardo Cachucho (TheFakeSartorialist) and Jill Ross. We don't know what to expect but we are very excited. Then at 20.00 as tradition dictates, Amanda Laird Cherry is the first big designer to show alongside Ephymol. Felipe Mazibuko wouldn't stop talking about how great Amanda's new collection is - we can't wait. At 22.00 legendary show producer Shaldon Kopman show's us what he's capable of in his very first show under his new label Naked Ape.
